NBA Trades: Would the Blazers agree to the deal?

With the Trail Blazers looking to trade either Anfernee Simons and/or Jerami Grant, this deal would see them move both for a potential haul. Getting Black, Anthony, Hachimura, Russell, and three first-round picks for both players would be a big return.

After all, Black is a recent top-10 pick, Hachimura and Russell may have re-trade value that could net them second-round picks, and Portland would become worse enough to possibly enter the Cooper Flagg sweepstakes. The picks would be the icing on the cake, with the Blazers getting a top-3 protected first from the Lakers in 2029.

That could be a high lottery pick as well as a first from the Nuggets via the Magic and their 2026 first that project to be in the early to mid-20s. While they are seemingly looking for two firsts for Grant, few playoff teams have that to offer. The ones that can may either not be interested or not interested in that price.

The Lakers pick is quality over quantity and would be good value for a player who isn't in their future plans. Ultimately, the Blazers could and should be interested in making this deal if it were proposed.
