The proposal sees the Knicks acquire Hawks center Clint Capela in exchange for Mitchell Robinson, Pacome Diadet, and two second round picks. The Hawks continue their offseason makeover and acquire draft compensation and an intriguing young player in Dadiet. Robinson can also settle into the backup center role behind Onyeka Okongwu.

As for the Knicks, they acquire a nightly double-double threat in Capela, who can be thrust right into the starting lineup and be a valuable pick and roll partner for Brunson and patrol the paint on both ends of the floor. They have also reportedly checked in on Capela.

Both teams clearly have incentive to do the trade, but would both sides agree to the deal as is or would there need to be changes?
