With the addition of Chris Paul, the San Antonio Spurs appear ready to fast-track their rebuild and get back into playoff contention for the first time in five years. That could start with them making a move for an Utah Jazz All-Star. However, they may have stiff competition with several teams interested in trading for him.

Despite that, the Oklahoma City Thunder seem to be the most serious competition the Spurs have since OKC has the most draft picks of any team in the NBA, even more than the Spurs. Even after signing former New York Knicks center Isaiah Hartenstein to a big 3-year, 85 million deal, they could still outbid the Spurs.

If that turns out to be the case, there may still be a way the Spurs can get better, which leads to an intriguing 4-team trade proposal involving the Spurs, Jazz, Pelicans and Thunder. Up next, we will take a look at the potential 4-team swap and see if the each team would agree to the deal as is.
