NBA Trades: 1 potential last-minute deal to shake up all 30 NBA teams

NBA Trades: New Orleans Pelicans
The New Orleans Pelicans have yet to find a taker for star Brandon Ingram and they may have to start the season with him without a starting-caliber center. They can avoid that situation by trading Ingram to the Utah Jazz for John Collins, Walker Kessler, and a 2027 first. That trade would give them a starting center on a good contract for the next two years, a future first that they can either keep or use in another deal, and Collins, who would be a nice fit in their second unit.
Turning a player that they are not likely to retain in Ingram into a starter, a rotation player, and a first would be a pretty good return considering his apparently lackluster trade market. For Utah, they would get better in the short term after extending Lauri Markkanen.
If Ingram works out, then they would be able to extend him, possibly on a team-friendly deal. If it doesn't, then they were probably still going to move Collins and Kessler, and they had three firsts in 2027. It is a potential win-win for both the Pelicans and Jazz if they were to agree to the trade.
