NBA Trades: Would the Pelicans agree to the deal?

The Pelicans have a need for a new starting center and in the proposed deal, they would receive Cavs big man Jarrett Allen and Darius Garland. It would cost them, however, with the Pelicans having to give up the 21st pick, the Lakers 2025 first, in addition to McCollum, and Ingram. Nevertheless, Allen and Garland would be a far better fit with the Pelicans roster.

If paired with the likes of Herb Jones and Trey Murphy III in their starting lineup, they'd help the Pelicans build around Zion Williamson. That might be risky since Williamson hasn't proven that he can stay healthy but if he can, then they'd be great.

That might start with this deal and given their need for a replacement at center and an upgrade at point guard, trading two firsts, McCollum and Ingram may be something that the Pelicans strongly consider. Especially with several other teams in the market for a center this summer.
