2) Bojan Bogdanovic

Bojan to Grizzlies trade

Detroit is viewed as the most likely team to make a trade in the next few weeks, as they are currently on a 23-game losing streak and have multiple veterans with legitimate trade value on the roster. The most notable of them is Bojan Bogdanovic, who in seven games this season, has averaged 20 points per game while shooting 49% from the field and 40% from three.

Detroit is reportedly waiting for a "large offer," but they’ll likely have to lower their standards at least a little bit if they actually want to get a deal done. Bogdanovic should begin regressing soon; he is currently 34 years old, and outside of his scoring, he doesn’t contribute much. Nonetheless, the Pistons would get solid value from this trade, acquiring draft capital, a young player with potential in Ziaire Williams, and an athletic forward in Brandon Clarke once he returns from injury.

For Memphis, they’re currently 13th in the Western Conference with a 6-18 record. While Ja Morant is expected to return against the Pelicans, the Grizzlies may have dug themselves too big of a hole to climb out of with the current roster.

Adding Bogdanovic would certainly give Memphis a much better chance of playing their way into the playoffs, and they could certainly use a three-point shooter, as they currently rank 29th in the league in three-point percentage.
