11) Kevin Durant
Admittedly, Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant might seem like a long shot for the Spurs but not as much as it might have seemed prior to his team's first-round exit in the playoffs. Durant is under contract for two more seasons and while he may not want out immediately, should he want out, then San Antonio may be a dark horse candidate to land him.
ESPN's Brian Windhorst has stated that stars, specifically ones that have some experience, may take notice of what the Spurs have going on. Considering that he played for Texas in college, it would mark a fitting final stop for Durant. The Spurs could trade Zach Collins, Tre Jones, and Devonte Graham—should they pick up his team option—as well as a couple of firsts for Durant.
That might net them their best offensive player since Kawhi Leonard, and it would be fascinating to see him play next to a player who has been compared to him. Depending on how big of a second-year jump Wembanyama has, the Spurs may be a playoff team next season and they would have more upside if they added one of the best offensive players in league history to their team
