NBA Trades: 12 perfect playmakers the Spurs must consider pairing with Wembanyama

With more than half of the league's teams already eliminated from title contention, each has turned their attention to the offseason in hopes of improving in either the short or long term. The San Antonio Spurs are in a position to do both with a roster full of young talent led by Rookie of the Year Victor Wembanyama, the fourth and eighth picks in this year's draft, and up to $20 million in cap space.
With so many assets, the Spurs may be the team to watch this summer as they look to build around Wembanyama. That could include making a trade for another star or a skilled playmaker to pair with Wembanyama to get San Antonio back into contention after missing the playoffs for five straight years.
With teams such as the Orlando Magic, Minnesota Timberwolves, and Oklahoma City Thunder all having playoff success this season and led by young stars, the Spurs may be able to do the same next season.
