Realistic Trade Target: Malcolm Brogdon

Ever since the Damian Lillard trade happened this summer, many have expected point guard Malcolm Brogdon to be traded sooner rather than later. With fewer than three weeks until the NBA trade deadline, he may very well be on the move.

Plenty of opposing teams could use a player of his skill set, a talented playmaker who can light it up from outside. He is also under contract for another two seasons at an affordable rate, meaning that whatever team ultimately trades for him would get a starting point guard who isn't a rental.

The Portland Trail Blazers will probably have to wait until Dejounte Murray gets traded before finding a taker for Brogdon. Assuming that happens, then the Blazers will have one less suitor for Brogdon but should be able to find a team willing to give up at least one first-round pick.

With him not in their long-term plans and the Blazers in the early stages of a rebuild, they will take what they can get, meaning that he is almost certain to be traded to the highest bidder.
