Realistic Trade Target: DeMar DeRozan

It is all but a guarantee that Chicago Bulls star DeMar DeRozan will be on a new team in a matter of weeks. DeRozan is set to become an unrestricted free agent this summer and with him and the Bulls unable to agree on a contract extension, they will probably move him rather than lose him for nothing.

DeRozan might not be the hottest name on the trade market given his age—34 years old—and questions about fit since he can't shoot threes and needs the ball in his hands. Be that as it may, he is still effective as a passer and scorer in the mid-range and just about anywhere inside the arc.

He may also not cost that much since he would only draw interest from playoff teams and they tend to have few first-round picks to offer up in a deal. The Lakers and Heat have both been mentioned as possible landing spots for DeRozan, as well as Philadelphia, though he may be more of a backup plan than their first choice. Still, he will undoubtedly be on a new team in a matter of weeks; we just don't have a clear idea of which team as of now.
