NBA Trade Rumors: The Knicks are shopping star to upgrade their roster.

The New York Knicks recently completed a blockbuster deal for former Toronto Raptor wing OG Anunoby but they are reported to be far from done. Actually, Hoops Hype's Mike Scotto has reported that they could even be willing to part with star Julius Randle, who is in the middle of a prolonged hot streak, in order to upgrade their roster ahead of the second half of the season.

By shopping Randall in addition to draft picks, which they were able to hold onto in the Anunoby deal, they could potentially entice another team to give up a better player in a deal. Moreover, the Knicks have been linked to Dejounte Murray, Zach LaVine, and Donovan Mitchell.

However, it's unclear if they will actually make a move for any of those players or whether the Hawks, Chicago Bulls, or Cleveland Cavaliers would have any interest in Randall or trade with a conference rival. The Knicks clearly are looking to improve their roster, despite being a tier below the top teams in the Eastern Conference and they may have the assets needed to do so.
