3rd pick: Washington Wizards-Ron Holland

Rounding out the top 3 are the Washington Wizards, who, more than any other team, are in need of a franchise player to build around. Currently, Bleacher Report has the Wizards slated to select G-League Ignite guard Ron Holland. There are some questions about Holland, namely how well he will shoot in the NBA. Be that as it may, he is a terrific athlete who is averaging nearly 20 points per game as a teenager in the NBA G-League.

Playing well against a higher level of competition should be a great learning experience and help him adjust quickly to playing against older players in the NBA. Given the Wizards' need for talent, if available, they probably wouldn't be able to pass up on Holland, who has star potential if he can improve as a shooter.

Without another player on their roster with that type of potential, he would be a key part of what could be a very long rebuild after they finally traded Bradley Beal. Next, we will take a look at the other teams and prospects projected to be in the top 10 of the 2024 NBA draft.
