NBA Finals: 3 areas the Celtics must dominate to beat the Mavericks
1) Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown must outplay the Mavs' dynamic duo.
Beyond any specific area of the game, the Celtics’ stars will have to step up and finish the job. Tatum and Brown will have to be just as good if not better than Doncic and Irving. Even if the two Boston products are not necessarily better from a statistical perspective, they’ll have to make winning plays on both ends.

Making the extra pass, fighting for rebounds, and closing out on defense are all small actions that go a long way in deciding a series. Above all else, the dynamic duo will have to play championship basketball.
