The Los Angeles Lakers have been surprisingly quiet this summer, with their biggest off-season moves coming during the draft. The early returns from Dalton Knecht have been encouraging but the Lakers won't get back into title contention by remaining patient and entering the season without making a big move.

Waiting to make a move has resulted in the free agency and trade markets drying up, with only a few players worth considering. With limited options, the Lakers could and should turn to some familiar faces to try and help them next season.

Over the past few seasons, the Lakers have become a revolving door, signing players to minimum one-year contracts or shipping them out in trades. Young players in particular have found themselves included in deals meant to help Los Angeles compete for a championship.

Several of those players have gone on to have good careers and could help their former team as they look to return to their winning ways. As a result, they should consider reuniting with four former Lakers. Next up, we will start with a recent castoff who had a career year last season but has struggled to find a new home.
