3) Klay Thompson

Future Hall of Famer Klay Thompson is in the final season of his contract with the Golden State Warriors and he could leave the Warriors in free agency. That raises questions about whether they would trade a franchise icon before it got to that point. At the moment, it seems less than likely that they would move him with other trade options but Thompson may still have plenty of value given his shooting ability.

On the other hand, his age and impending free agency could hamper his trade value. Still, he could net the Warriors a first-round pick or perhaps two or three rotation players—if they are only looking for players who can help them win—in return for Thompson.

More likely, however, Golden State will play out the season with him and see how things play out. After all, the Warriors probably aren't concerned with losing him for nothing this summer, considering most playoff teams won't have cap space. That leaves the door open for a sign and trade but just not this season.
