After a pitiful showing at the 2022 World Cup, in which they didn't medal, Team USA has reloaded in a big way ahead of the 2024 Olympics. Superstars and USA basketball veterans LeBron James and Kevin Durant headline the announced roster but it also features fellow superstar and first-time Olympian Steph Curry. Those three alone could give the U.S. a boost, but talent won't necessarily guarantee the Olympic team success so they have added a mix of rising stars and established stars to aid them.

Unlike the NBA all-star game, which is meant to give fans a glimpse of how the league's best players look when playing alongside one another, Team USA is meant to have a cohesive roster. That hasn't always been the case but they needed to have their best players to give themselves the best chances to beat an increasingly talented international field.

Many of the NBA's best players will suit up and play for another country, including two-time MVP Nikola Jokic as well as Giannis Antetokounmpo and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. That means that Team USA will have its work cut out for themselves but they have an incredibly deep roster and they can mix-and-match. With that in mind, here are six potential Team USA one-two punches that can deliver them a Gold Medal

Team USA roster:

LeBron James (Los Angeles Lakers)

Stephen Curry (Golden State Warriors)

Kevin Durant (Phoenix Suns)

Joel Embiid (Philadelphia 76ers)

Anthony Davis (Los Angeles Lakers)

Devin Booker (Phoenix Suns)

Anthony Edwards (Minnesota Timberwolves)

Jayson Tatum (Boston Celtics)

Bam Adebayo (Miami Heat)

Tyrese Haliburton (Indian Pacers)

Jrue Holiday (Boston Celtics)

Kawhi Leonard (Los Angeles Clippers)
