No. 2 - Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, OKC Thunder

This one should be a slam dunk. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has been incredible this season, cementing his name in the MVP conversation weekly while the OKC Thunder continue flirting with the top seed in the Western Conference. He's one of the most exciting up-and-coming guards in the NBA today, and it might only be a matter of time before he is rewarded with his own signature.

Converse, to whom SGA is signed, has been making its way back onto the basketball scene over these last few years. They have a number of ongoing sneaker lines, but similar to New Balance, they do not have a true signature for any of their signees. SGA is the face of the brand and will be for many years to come, so his own Converse shoe line seems like a no-brainer.

No. 1 - Nikola Jokic, Denver Nuggets

It's weird that Nikola Jokic, a two-time MVP and NBA champion, does not have his own line right now. He's one of the best in the business, and he's got to be the only player ever to have those accolades without a signature. Well, a recent business move seemingly signals that change could be on the horizon for Jokic.

The big man recently signed a deal with 361°, leaving Nike in a move that surprised many onlookers. Jokic confirmed that while no release date has been set, a signature is seemingly in the works after this new partnership, saying, "The work we have done on my first shoe has been amazing so far, and I cannot wait to share it with everyone very soon."
