Loser: Trade Market Buyers

There is reportedly a discrepancy between the number of buyers and sellers as we approach this year's trade deadline, with lots of teams looking to improve their rosters but few looking to blow theirs up.

The Raptors are one of the only teams that look to be entering rebuild mode, and among players on the trade block, OG was one of the most coveted by a long list of teams. As stated before, he has a skillset that can adapt to almost any situation.

All of those teams just lost out on what could've been a key addition to their roster. With not too many other players of Anunoby's caliber on the trade market, it will be a race to see which contending teams can make moves to gear up for the playoffs by this deadline.

The Pascal Siakam sweepstakes are likely coming next, as he's undoubtedly the best player who is presumably available for trade, assuming the Raptors are comfortable settling into a rebuild. A young core of Scottie Barnes, Barrett, Quickley, and rookie Gradey Dick should certainly entice them to do so.
