4) Cam Thomas

Cam Thomas's journey has surely been a rocky one since being drafted by the Brooklyn Nets in 2021. The Nets as a whole have had a rough timeline going from super team to building around Mikal Bridges while still setting themselves up for a bright future to full rebuild mode. Thomas is surely going to be a part of this Nets organization for years to come, however, in terms of the 2024-2025 season, he is going to be the main guy on the roster.

He already proved, in just his third year in the NBA, that he is the real deal and can be a legitimate scoring threat. The young guard averaged a solid 22.5 points per game. Not to mention, he also shot 44.2% from the field and 36.4% from behind the arch.

Now these numbers are all good and well but in order for Thomas to take a dramatic leap in his fourth season, I believe that he needs to learn how to be more of a playmaker in order to perfectly round out his game. He has had the ability to score at a high level since his rookie year but it is that expansion that will take him to new heights in 2025.
