Landry Shamet

Teams looking for a sharpshooter should have eyes on Landry Shamet. The 27-year-old guard has hit 38.6 percent of his shots from 3-point range for his career and could make any team more lethal from deep. He has plenty of experience, playing for contenders like the Philadelphia 76ers, Brooklyn Nets, Phoenix Suns and LA Clippers during his career, as he fits into many systems.

HoopsHype's Michael Scotto previously reported that the Bucks, Heat, Timberwolves and Knicks all have interest in the guard, and he also didn't rule out Shamet returning to the Washington Wizards, where he played last season. This rumor shows that there is indeed interest in Shamet among the top teams in the league, so it feels like he's bound to get picked up before the season begins.

Unless the Wizards want to guarantee his return and outbid any team offering minimal salary, Shamet won't command anything more than the minimum in free agency. He won't be a game-changer and will not be able to play in every situation, but as a strong shooter and depth piece at the two-guard slot, he'd be a low-risk pickup to any contender seeking last-minute roster tweaks.

In particular, the aforementioned Miami Heat could make for a nice landing spot for Shamet.
