It's eye-catching that some of these names remain unsigned.

Lonnie Walker IV

Speaking of high-flying Brooklyn Nets guards who are hunting for stability after bouncing around the NBA for the past few seasons, Lonnie Walker IV also remains unsigned at this point. Teams looking to bulk up their shooting guard depth should be all over the 25-year-old, as he undoubtedly has plenty of fuel left in the tank.

Walker has developed into a nice role player over the past few seasons, averaging double-digit points in three of the past four years. Whether he's soaring high for a dunk or letting it fly from deep, he's got the chops to provide scoring. Defensively, he's inconsistent - one of the reasons he's unsigned - but has all of the physical tools to be a real threat on that side of the ball.

On a minimum contract, someone should undoubtedly take a flyer on Walker. Like fellow Brooklyn Net Smith Jr., the odds of him raking in anything more than a minimum this far into the offseason are slim. His best bet at this point is taking a veteran's minimum with a contender to boost his value ahead of free agency next offseason, as others such as the aforementioned Trent and Jones have done.

Some team may end up getting a strong young shooting guard on a cheap deal very soon.
