The Golden State Warriors suffered an ugly 1118-94 loss to the Sacramento Kings in the Play-In Tournament and now have an extended summer ahead of them. The biggest question surrounding the team is Klay Thompson, who is set to be a free agent.

The Warriors have Steph Curry under contract until 2025–26 and Draymond Green under contract until 2026–27. The two, along with head coach Steve Kerr, have been very vocal about wanting Thompson back but understand that it's a business at the end of the day. We will be looking at some of Klay Thompson's best suitors in free agency. There's not a long list as some teams already have an established core of players.

5) Orlando Magic

Orlando is rumored to be in pursuit of the 34-year-old sharpshooter. An up-and-coming, young team led by 21-year old all-star Paolo Banchero and head coach Jamahl Mosely. They have a great young core that consists of Banchero, Franz Wagner, Jalen Suggs, and Cole Anthony.

After finishing the regular-season as a top-five team in the East (47-35) and establishing their identity on the defensive end, the Magic will put their focus on taking the next step, and grabbing a two-way sharpshooter with championship experience would do wonders for the team on and off the court.
