With rumors surrounding the Chicago Bulls after a sluggish start, it seems increasingly possible that they could look to move on from their best players, including star Zach LaVine. LaVine's name has come up repeatedly in trade rumors, with the Bulls seeming increasingly willing to trade him and begin to rebuild.
But which team should the Bulls trade him to, and which potential trade package would be best for their team? Let's take a look at five potential deals that Chicago must consider for Lavine
5) Sacramento Kings
The Sacramento Kings have been linked to LaVine and appear serious about adding a third star to pair with DeAaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis. Considering how talented LaVine is as a shooter and offensive player in general, he'd make plenty of sense for Sacramento.
While he does have a massive 4-year, $180 million contract, trading for him would guarantee that he would stay put with the Kings for the duration of this current era. Better yet, the Kings have enough expendable players and draft picks to make a trade with the Bulls possible, with Harrison Barnes, Malik Monk, and Trey Lyles being the framework of a hypothetical deal.
Add in a first-round pick in 2026 and 2028, and the Bulls would likely agree to a deal. Especially with Barnes, Monk, and possibly even Lyles having re-trade value, that could add to Chicago's total haul for their best player.
Other playoff teams could make a play for LaVine, but the Kings have enough assets to make a competitive offer. That may leave the Kings as one of the few realistic destinations for LaVine.
