Dorian Finney-Smith, Brooklyn Nets

Over the past few seasons, the Brooklyn Nets have flirted with the idea of trading defensive-minded forward Dorian Finney-Smith. However, due to a seemingly stiff asking price, they've decided to hold off on dealing him. Well, with Brooklyn now entering a full-on rebuild after trading Mikal Bridges to the New York Knicks, they may intensify their quest to move the veteran for more assets.

Just about every contender across the league could use Finney-Smith. At 6-foot-7, 220 pounds, he's a versatile chess piece capable of playing and defending both forward positions that could fortify the defense of any contender. On top of that, he's a respectable enough outside shooter - 35.5 percent for his career - that teams cannot leave him open on the perimeter.

On the books for $14.9 million this season, Finney-Smith has a reasonable contract for a player of his caliber, making him all the more desirable. For a team that feels like they're a piece away, perhaps he'd be worth pushing all of their chips to the center of the table for, especially if said franchise could use another quality defender and outside shooter.

If the Nets embrace their inevitable rebuild and lower their asking price for the forward to something at least more reasonable, a deal could get done rather quickly.
