21 up-for-grabs players who may play a starring role in NBA trade deadline rumors

Kenyon Martin Jr., Philadelphia 76ers
This is a situation reminiscent of the aforementioned Josh Okogie, largely because they were given the exact same two-year, $16 million extension this offseason. By handing Martin a deal greater than what most anticipated him getting, the Philadelphia 76ers now have a very tradeable contract if they decide to make a move or two throughout the upcoming season.
Individually, Martin is coming off a down year, having averaged 3.7 points and 2.2 rebounds per game. However, a big part of that may be due to his minutes being slashed mightily, going from 28 per game in 2023-24 to just 12 last year. In that 2022-23 campaign, he averaged 12.7 points and 5.5 boards per contest, highlighting that there is some potential there if given the right role.
If the 76ers were to make a play for a household name, the opposing team could certainly express an interest in getting Martin in return, especially if they are a young squad. The 23-year-old could benefit from playing on a younger team that has time to let him grow and spread his wings rather than a team like the 76ers that is primarily rolling with veterans in an effort to win now.
Even after a great offseason, Daryl Morey and the Philadelphia 76ers could still make a move or two down the line.
