29) Utah Jazz-Bobbi Klintman
After swinging for the fences with the 10th pick, I expect the Utah Jazz will play it safer with the 29th pick and select Bobbi Klintman. Klintman spent time in Australia's National Basketball League (NBL) this past season, gaining valuable experience that should help him in the NBA.
He is older than most players expected to go in the first round considering that he is 21 years old but he may also be closer to realizing the role he will play in the NBA. After all, he projects to be a three-and-d wing and his size at 6'9 with a 7'0 wing span already gives him a leg up. Klintman proved more than capable of keeping up as a defender and forcing opponents to shoot over his length, something that is hard to do.
Offensively, he won't be a major threat but he already is at least a decent shooter after nailing 36.8% of his 2.3 attempts per game at Wake Forest and 35.7% from deep on 3.7 attempts per game en route to averaging 9.7 points in the NBL. There is still some work to be done on his game but he seems like a player who could earn rotation minutes as a rookie and only get better from there.
