15) Miami Heat-Isaiah Collier

In this mock draft, once projected lottery pick Isaiah Collier will fall to 15 and be selected by the Miami Heat and that may ultimately turn out to be the best thing for him. Collier struggled at times this past college season playing for USC with turnovers and on defense but playing for the Heat, who have a terrific track record of developing players, could help him minimize his falls and maximize his strengths.

At 6'5 and with a strong frame, the Heat would have a lot to work with and Collier would have a path to carving out a rotation role as soon as next season at backup point guard. Collier looks the part of a high-level slasher who can use ball screens, his quickness, and athleticism to get into the paint and do damage by using his frame to finish at the rim or hitting pull-up jumpers.

Unsurprisingly, he shot 54.3% on twos and moderately well on threes, en route to 16.3 points and 4.3 assists per game for USC. With Collier sliding down the draft board, the Heat might be able to land him and turn him into a key role player.
