26) Washington Wizards-Bobi Klintman
The Washington Wizards will get their second crack at selecting in the first round and they could take a swing on Swedish forward Bobby Klintman. Klintman initially played college ball for Wake Forest, spending the 2022–23 season coming off the bench, putting up decent numbers and showing flashes as a three-and-d wing.
However, he opted to play this season in Australia's National Basketball League. That has proven to be a better fit, with him averaging 9.7 points and 4.8 rebounds and giving him the chance to show off his defensive ability. His size at 6'9 with a 7'0 wing span allows him to block or challenge shots, while his mobility helps him keep up with defenders on the perimeter.
He will have to improve offensively but he is a respectable 3-point shooter, shooting 36.8% on 2.3 attempts per game at Wake Forest and 35.7% from deep on 3.7 attempts per game in the NBL. At 21, Klintman is a bit older than one would hope for a prospect who still has some holes in his game but with the 26th pick, the Wizards may take a chance on him in the hopes that he develops into a good role player.
