2024 NBA Mock Draft 2.0: Hawks play it safe, Wizards go big, Spurs fill two needs

The 2024 NBA Draft is less than a month away and there are plenty of questions about which top prospect will go where. This year's draft class doesn't have a clear star at the top of the board, unlike the starstudded 2023 draft, which has made the top half of the lottery much harder to predict than in recent years.

Nevertheless, that is exactly what we will attempt to do here. The Atlanta Hawks will have the first pick and it is anyone's guess who they select. Whoever they end up with will cause ripple effects down the draft board as teams try to scoop up the next best available prospect.

Further complicating things is that the draft will be split into two days for the first time. With more time in between picks and a questionable draft, there may be more draft night trades with teams looking to trade up, trade down, or even trade out of the first round all together.
