11) Donovan Mitchell

Despite a strong season from both the Cleveland Cavaliers and Donovan Mitchell, there is still the looming threat that he may leave in free agency in the summer of 2025. Thus far, he has given no indication that he will do so but if the Cavaliers believe that he won't re-sign with them, then they may entertain the idea of trading him this summer.

At the moment, that seems far-fetched but it is until it isn't. Things change fast in the NBA and Mitchell can go from being fully committed to indicting that he may leave in short order. The New York Knicks, Miami Heat, and Brooklyn Nets would all probably go hard after Mitchell should he become available.

For Cleveland to even consider moving on from Mitchell, they would likely have to get a deal equal to or greater than the one the Toronto Raptors received for Pascal Siakam ahead of the trade deadline. The Raptors got three first-round picks for Siakam on an expiring contract and the Cavaliers could reasonably command four in return for Mitchell.

However, a lot depends on how the Cavs perform in the postseason; if they disappoint, then it would increase the chances of Mitchell wanting out and the Cavs obliging him this summer.
