14) Malcolm Brogdon

Veteran point guard Malcolm Brogdon was seen as a probable trade candidate ahead of the deadline but wasn't ultimately moved. That may have had to do with him lobbying for the Blazers to keep him, which they did. Nevertheless, Brogdon could be back on the trade block this summer.

One reason is that the Blazers may look to continue to rebuild through the draft and next year is supposed to be much better and several teams will be angling for the top pick. Cooper Flagg will be the prize and a team such as Portland, who may be years away from making the playoffs, may be looking to move some of their veterans. That would improve their lottery odds while also adding picks from other teams.

Teams could use a player such as Brogdon, who is a terrific shooter and a nifty finisher in the paint, as well as a steady playmaker. The San Antonio Spurs and Orlando Magic would be the two most obvious choices since both teams are in need of an upgrade at point guard. They may have interest should the Blazers make him available in the offseason.
