2) Kyle Kuzma

Washington Wizards power forward Kyle Kuzma was one of the more sought-after players ahead of the trade deadline and could be sought-after this summer too. Kuzma, in fact, was nearly dealt to the Dallas Mavericks back in February, but he wanted to stay put so the Wizards opted to keep him. However, with the Wizards likely to have a high draft pick in this year's NBA Draft and the 2025 draft headlined by Cooper Flagg, they may decide to shop Kuzma again.

Although the Wizards have been terrible with Kuzma, trading him this summer would help ensure that they finish with one of the three worst records in the NBA next season. Washington also isn't as pick rich as other terrible teams and could use assets received from a Kuzma deal to grow their war chest.

Teams such as the Los Angeles Lakers and Sacramento Kings could have an interest in him were he to become available, especially due to his contract. Unlike virtually all big contracts, Kuzma's deal actually decreases over the next three seasons, while the salary cap is set to dramatically rise. That could make Kuzma underpaid in another season or two and all the more valuable to a contender.
