LeBron James, Captain America

Much like with the Avengers and Captain America, LeBron James is the leader of Team USA. At 38 years old and appearing in his fourth Olympics, he, along with Kevin Durant, are the veterans of the team but it's clear that everyone respects LeBron the most.

Without him, they likely would have suffered an embarrassing loss to South Sudan, with LeBron hitting the game winner and it likely won't be the last time he shields Team USA from taking damage. See what I did there?

Anthony Davis-Winter Soldier

If LeBron James is Captain America, then Anthony Davis should be the Winter Soldier. Bucky Barnes is the side kick or co-star to Captain America and Davis has been that to LeBron, with the duo winning a championship in 2020, an NBA Cup in 2023 and going for gold in 2024.

While Davis doesn't have the super soldier serum and a bionic arm, he is an impactful two-way who can shut down the paint on defense, crash the glass, and drop 25 points on the other end of the floor. He may not get as much credit as LeBron gets, but like the Winter Soldier, he's key to every mission.
