Heat Resolution: Keep Tyler Herro out of trade rumors.
Miami needs… to assure Tyler Herro that he will be a member of the Heat long-term. He has been rumored in lots of projected trades over the last few seasons, most prominently in the Damian Lillard sweepstakes.
Regardless of the rumors, he has stuck around and is having a break-out season for Miami. Herro is averaging a team-high 24.4 PPG and is shooting a career-best 41.8% from beyond the arc. He is also still just 23-years-old and has plenty of room to expand his game further.
All three of the Heat stars (Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, and of course, Herro) have missed 8+ games this season, but Miami has still managed to enter the new year at 19-13 and are once again a team that you do not want to see in the playoffs.
Tyler Herro did miss the historic playoff-run last year for Miami after fracturing his hand in the first playoff game against the Milwaukee Bucks, but the Heat are a better team with him on the court. This is especially true after both Gabe Vincent and Max Strus departed in the offseason.
