Warriors Resolution: Go all in for one more Steph Curry title run.

Golden State needs… to make some tough decisions and shoot for a big trade or two to try to get Curry another title in the next two seasons. No one on the Warriors roster outside of #30 should be off limits.

Curry is nearing 36 years old and will only have a few more seasons in his peak form. The team around Curry this season has not been good enough and even his long-term typically-reliable teammates like Klay Thompson and Draymond Green have been detrimental to the Warriors success this season.

The Warriors have the assets to make a trade and should not be afraid to make one last push for a potential 5th Curry title. They have players with large contracts that can be thrown into deals such as Chris Paul and Andrew Wiggins. They have young assets like Jonathan Kuminga, Moses Moody, and Trayce Jackson-Davis and future picks to work with as well. There are even some sneaky scenarios where Thompson or Green could be included to make a deal work.

Getting Curry a new teammate like Pascal Siakam, Zach LaVine, or DeMar DeRozan to upgrade now and sacrifice a bit of the future (or the happiness of Thompson or Green) is well worth it. The current roster looks to be far from contending for another title. Golden State should be swinging for the fences.

Much like in the non-NBA world, not everyone will fulfill their resolutions and get what they need in order to better their situations. Regardless, others will thrive and get exactly what they need or even go above and beyond their expectations. Only time will tell how 2024 will treat these NBA teams in the Pacific Division.
