Lakers Resolution: Rekindle what was working well during the In-Season Tournament.

Los Angeles needs… to figure out what was working well earlier in the season and revert back to that style of basketball. Since winning the In-Season Tournament against the Indiana Pacers on December 9th, the Lakers hold a very concerning 3-8 record. Something about their style of play has been off and not working as designed.

It has not been an issue for the star players either. LeBron James and Anthony Davis have both been fantastic this season. Austin Reaves has been solid as well. The problem has been the cohesiveness and play around them. It’s tough to put a finger on exactly what is not working or who to blame specifically, but this team should have a much better record than 17-17 entering the new year.

Look for Coach Darvin Ham to try to shake some things up and try out some new lineup combinations. Luckily, the Lakers do have the luxury of nine of their next ten games being at home, so that should help things trend in a more positive direction as well.
