It's no secret that the Orlando Magic have a clear flaw that is in need of major fixing this summer. Their lack of shooting had them ranked 23rd in 3-point attempts and 30th in 3-point percentage this season.

Fixing that weakness would do wonders for their offense, with them having just the 27th-best offensive rating this season. That would help them solve their struggles scoring in the half-court. While they are still alive in the playoffs, they should already be looking forward to targeting a potentially available star this summer.

The Magic, despite being a playoff team, still have plenty of assets needed to make a big trade, including two first-round picks in this year's draft. That could help them make a splash come draft night or in free agency when teams are more willing to move on from players. But who should they target this summer?

A perfect Orlando Magic trade target appears out of nowhere thanks to the Grizzlies

After being swept in the first round of the playoffs, the Memphis Grizzlies could look much different next season. This is considering the Grizzlies' rapidly growing salaries and falling behind in the Western Conference.

As a result, they could preemptively look to move on from sharpshooter Desmond Bane, who could very well be traded this summer.

Moving Bane might seem premature for the Grizzlies, but they are only a few million under the luxury tax now and will soon have to extend Jaren Jackson Jr.

They will also have to pay Santi Aldama, who could earn at least $12 million a season. Moving Bane now could allow them to invest more around Ja Morant and Jackson Jr. while keeping their salary down.

Moving Desmond Bane makes sense for the stagnant Memphis Grizzlies

Morant has taken a step back over the last couple of seasons from his peak, but he still has top-10 potential, while Jackson Jr. is a top-25 player in his own right. As far as a potential package, the Magic could offer Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Anthony Black, and two first-round picks for Bane.

Bane had a down season, but he's shot a blistering 41% from deep on 6.3 3-point attempts per game over his career. He's also averaged 21.1 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 5 assists per game over the last three seasons. That makes him one of the best high-volume shooters in the league and could give the Magic a marksman who can help them solve their biggest problem.

For the Grizzlies, they would get a former lottery pick, two firsts, and a three-and-d wing. That would give them more flexibility, but a potential deal involving Bane and the Magic would depend on how the Grizzlies view their roster going forward.
