NBA Trades: Would the Warriors agree to the deal?

Golden State giving up three rotation players and Moody for Leonard would be risky, to say the least. Be that as it may, Wiggins is expendable at this point given he hasn't lived up to his new contract. Kuminga doesn't seem to be in their long-term plans, as they attempted to trade him this summer and have not yet signed him and Moody to a contract extension.

Lastly, Payton II may have a diminished role this season, with a younger player such as Brandin Podziemski playing a bigger role. That makes all four players at least expendable and if the Clippers make Leonard available early on and he shows that he can still play at a high level, then the Warriors should be interested.

A starting lineup of Curry, Podziemski, Leonard, Draymond Green, and Trayce Jackson-Davis would have plenty of shooting with Curry, Podziemski, and Leonard. They would also have defensive chops, with two former Defensive Player of the Year winners in Leonard and Green and an athletic big man in Jackson-Davis.

The risk is always there for another injury to Leonard, but he has helped lead two teams to a championship and he paired with Curry would be a great theoretical fit.

Curry's shooting and ability to move off the ball make him easy to play with, while Leonard is an efficient scorer who can knock down threes, score in the mid-range, bully his way to the rim, and even create for others. If the Warriors can get him, then they should say yes to the deal.
