NBA Trades: Would the Clippers agree to the deal?

At the moment, the Clippers have a bleak outlook for the immediate future. They only have seven picks total over the next seven years but don't control all of those picks. That includes their 2025 first-round pick, which the Oklahoma City Thunder have swap rights for thanks to the Paul George trade.

That may result in them giving up a lottery pick, whether Leonard is on the team or not. With tanking off the table, the Clippers will have to get creative to rebuild, and moving on from Leonard while he still has some trade value is the best way to do so.

They wouldn't be getting a haul for him, to be clear but Wiggins is a serviceable starter who some teams may even have interest in given his defensive ability and 3-point shooting. Payton II might also be flipable since he is on an expiring contract and is cheap, potentially netting the Clippers a second or two.

Kuminga has star potential but needs the opportunity to show and prove, while Moody looks like he should be a good starter if given the chance. Those two players alone should give the Clippers reason to agree to the deal and probably should if a similar deal gets offered.
