4) Tajh Ariza-Son of Trevor Arizia
The son of 19-year NBA veteran Trevor Ariza is a rising NBA draft prospect and could potentially be drafted in 2026. Tajh Ariza is a 6'8 wing, much in the mold of his father, but he is a five-star recruit, whereas his dad wasn't as highly regarded coming out of high school.
Nevertheless, Trevor Ariza was able to carve out a long career as a defender and 3-point shooter. Tajh having a similar physical profile and the pedigree of an NBA player will likely aid him in his draft process.
If he shines in college, then he could even emerge as a lottery pick. Historically, second-generation players tend to be better than their parents, and if that turns out to be the case for Tajh, then he could be a very successful NBA player.
3) Kiyan Anthony-Son of Carmelo Anthony
Son of NBA great Carmelo Anthony, Kiyan Anthony is one of the better second-generation prospects. He currently ranks 36th overall in the 2025 ESPN 100 recruiting class and is a four-star recruit who has committed to play for his pops' alma mater, Syracuse.
Although he may not be as highly regarded as some of the other second-generation players on this list, or even his father coming out of college, he already has a fairly high profile. He has even appeared in a commercial with Melo.
Like Melo, Kiyan Anthony is much more of an offensive player, with him already known for being a high-volume scorer. He even has a similarly vast offensive repertoire like his father. Kiyan is able to shoot off the dribble, off screens, hit floaters, and spot up. His efficiency will have to improve, but as a big guard who can score with the best of them, he might have a bright future in the NBA.
