7) Jaxon Richardson-son of Jason Richardson

2026 draft prospect Jaxon Richardson is the son of former NBA star Jason Richardson and is already a five-star recruit. He ranks 13th in ESPN's top 100 high school prospects.

That makes him the second-highest rated of the second-generation players of his class. At 17 years old, he is already 6-5 and likely still growing. He is also an explosive athlete, making him an intriguing talent.

Considering his father is a 6-6 wing with elite leaping ability, Jaxon Richardson is already shaping up to have a similar player profile. He isn't quite the shooter his father is yet, but he has the slashing ability to potentially make him a star at the next level.

6)Jase Richardson-son of Jason Richardson

Of all the players mentioned in this article, Michigan State guard Jase Richardson is the only player expected to be drafted this year. Richardson is the son of former NBA star Jason Richardson, who spent most of his career with the Golden State Warriors and was known as an high flyer who even won the dunk contest.

He was also one of the better players of his era, with his athleticism helping him attack the rim and his ability to knock down threes, making him a potent offensive weapon. Jase isn't quite the same athlete as Jason was but is a talented player in his own right and probably just as good as a shooter.

He is one of the best high-volume shooters in this year's draft class and can also put the ball on the floor and knock down pull-ups and get to the rim and finish. His versatile offensive package could make him a lottery pick come June. Teams needing shooting could look in his direction, and he could carve out a long career on his own right.
