4. Anthony Edwards, Guard, Minnesota Timberwolves

Anthony Edwards is one of the most colorful, vibrant personalities in all of the NBA. He’s only 22 years old and has already been an All-Star and has shown he’s not afraid of the big stage, averaging 28.1 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 4.0 assists in 11 playoff games in his brief, but brilliant career thus far.

Edwards averaged career highs across the board last season en route to his first All-Star selection, averaging 24.6 points, 5.8 rebounds, 4.4 assists,  and 1.6 steals per game while shooting 46% from the field and 37% from three.

Edwards was utilized even more in the Timberwolves offense last season with a usage rate of 29.9% career high) last season according to Basketball Reference. Edwards seems poised for a major leap after an impressive showing in the FIBA World Cup games this past summer.

Look for more jaw-dropping plays (such as the below, poor Daniel Theis) from Edwards as he looks to take on the “Alpha” role as the No.1 option for the Timberwolves.
