NBA Trades: Sixers and Clippers both land a star in a 3-team deal with Toronto.

In the hypothetical swap, Philly would acquire Pascal Siakam, Nic Batum, Robert Covington, and Marcus Morris. The Raptors would receive three firsts and Tobias Harris, while the Clippers would finally land Harden. In theory, that is a win-win scenario for each side of the deal, but with competing interests, it may not be something that they would all agree to.

Still, Philadelphia would add a star to replace Harden and three expiring players that they could flip for better players on longer-term deals. Toronto would get a haul back for Siakam, who will become an unrestricted free agent after this season. As for the Clippers, they would add an All-Star in Harden who could help improve their title chances without them having to overpay.

Be that as it may, the regular season starts soon, and that could be the deadline to get a potential deal done. That would give the three teams less than 10 days to get a trade completed. Next, we will take a look at the trade from the Sixers’ perspective and see if they would agree to this deal.
