It has been a week since the 2022-23 NBA season wrapped up with the Denver Nuggets winning their first title in franchise history. Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray, Michael Malone, and the rest of the Nuggets winning the chip is as good of a cherry to top off a season to remember.

But before we got there, we had moments that made us laugh, cringe, cry, and throw objects at television sets. We saw empires fall, alliances form, dynasties getting established, and this player getting traded to that coach getting fired. Memorable games, breakthrough seasons for players and teams, kings ruling, and jokers being jokers. We have also seen The Joker become the king.

We at Hoops Habit enjoyed the season as most fans did. So we decided to have some of our writers plot a trip down memory lane as we look at the good, the bad, the ugly, and the outright ridiculous.

Disclaimer: we obviously could not cover every highlight and low point of the season–there are just too many. I mean, the Nets skyrocketing only to catch flames, the trade deadline drama, Patrick Beverly grabbing a camera to prove a point to a referee, Draymond Green knocking Jordan Poole’s lights out, you name it.

This is also listed in no particular order. It’s simply us looking at the rearview and sharing it with our readers. With that said, cue the graduation music.
