Ranking the 10 best shooting guard prospects in the 2023 NBA Draft
By Rowan Kent
Shooting Guard #1: Brice Sensabaugh, Ohio State
This may come as a bit of a surprise, but outside of the mainstream hype, there may not be a better shooting guard prospect in this or last year’s draft than Brice Sensabaugh. That’s lofty praise given that includes Shaedon Sharpe and Ben Mathurin, but as a pure scorer, Sensabaugh is just that good.
He has an unorthodox game full of post-ups, pull-ups, and tough angle shots, but he not only hit those at a high clip but also was a deadeye shooter from deeper. If he had a more regular look and feel to his game or was just a few inches taller, we’d be talking about Sensabaugh in the same vein as Brandon Miller.

He’ll need to defend the perimeter better and create more for himself and others at the next level, but for teams that are looking for a proven scorer in the lottery, there is none better than Sensabaugh.
His ability to put the ball in the basket is unrivaled in this draft class, which highlights his high value as a shooting guard prospect.
