NBA draft prospect Scoot Henderson is widely expected to be a top-three pick in this year’s draft, and a viral post on his Instagram shows why. In addition to being a talented young player and an explosive athlete, the 18-year-old Henderson is also jacked. Take a look.

While young point guards often require at least a couple of seasons to put on enough weight and muscle to adjust to the NBA, Henderson is clearly well ahead of the curve.

Scoot Henderson is an elite prospect but may still fall in the NBA Draft.

With an NBA-ready body, in theory, he should increase his draft stock ahead of the NBA draft lottery, when teams learn where they will be picking. Even then, Henderson is highly unlikely to be taken first overall; instead, 7’3 French center Victor Wembanyama will probably hear his name called first. Moreover, believe it or not, depending on the draft order, he could theoretically drop to as low as four.

If the Detroit Pistons and San Antonio Spurs select second and third overall, the Pistons could potentially pick the best small forward on the draft board, while the Spurs have been linked to two other guards. Despite that, after Wembanyama, Henderson could prove to be the second-best player in this year’s draft.

He has drawn comparisons to a young Russell Westbrook, circa his Oklahoma City Thunder days, but Henderson is both younger and a better shooter than he was at the same age. Not to mention that he already has a six-pack. No matter what team ultimately takes him, it seems clear that he is the real deal.

Overall, Henderson appears to be more than physically ready to play in the NBA. In fact, no matter where he is taken, he has the chance to be a superstar.
