NBA Trades: Cam Reddish

Cam Reddish, despite being selected 10th overall in the 2019 NBA draft, is already on his second team in four seasons and will most likely be on his third team soon. The New York Knicks traded a first-round pick to acquire him, but he’s fallen out of the rotation, and both his agent and the team are working on finding him a new home.

Four teams have already been linked to him (the Los Angeles Lakers, Dallas Mavericks, Detroit Pistons, and Miami Heat), suggesting that they all still believe in his talent. Additionally, the asking price may be only a couple of second-round picks, or perhaps none if the team also agrees to take back veteran Evan Fournier in return.

Of those four teams, I could see the Lakers acquiring him along with Fournier or maybe the Pistons taking a low-risk flyer on a player with lottery talent. Overall, Reddish seems like a lock to be moved next year, but it is still anyone’s guess as to which team will win the Reddish race. I know, I know. Let’s just move on and ignore that.
