NBA Family #3: The Currys

The Currys are arguably the most successful NBA family, thanks to none other than Stephen Curry. Stephen Curry is the face of the Golden State Warriors, a four-time NBA champion, a two-time MVP, and an eight-time All-Star. He is undoubtedly the best three-point shooter in the history of the NBA, and he solidified his standing as one of the best point guards in league history when he led the doubted Warriors team back to the throne and won his elusive Finals MVP.

Stephen Curry gets his exceptional shooting touch from his father, Dell Curry. Dell Curry was drafted 15th overall by Utah in 1986. Throughout his sixteen-year career, Dell played for several teams, won the Sixth Man of the Year award in 1994, and retired in 2002 as one of the best shooters of his time.

His legacy lives on with Stephen Curry, but it does not stop there. The younger Curry brother, Seth, is also a phenomenal shooter. He has spent his entire career so far as a role player living in his older brother’s shadow, but he excels in his personal role, and the Brooklyn Nets are desperately missing his shooting right now.
