Golden State Warriors: What about the Milwaukee Bucks?

A lot of people will not argue but declare that Giannis Antetokounmpo is currently the best basketball player in the world. When he entered the NBA, nobody thought that the skinny kid from Greece would be one of the most dominant forces we would see on a basketball court.

After bringing the championship to Milwaukee in 2021, the Greek Freak and company continued to play well despite failing to defend their title. Last season, they finished third in the East, made quick work of the Chicago Bulls in the opening round, and pushed the Celtics to seven games in a losing effort.

However, the Bucks are still easily one of the favored teams to win this year. The main and obvious factor is that they have the best player in the league, followed by the fact that they have a good and well-balanced team surrounding him.

Milwaukee is nowhere close to a one-man show. Yes, Giannis is the poster boy for the Bucks. But a lot of their success relies on how the rest of the team steps up when Giannis plays well and steps up even higher when he struggles. Fans have seen the scoring abilities of Khris Middleton and Jrue Holliday. Middleton is the right-hand man, and Holliday is the trusted ball handler.

With Giannis being a two-way player, Wesley Matthews, Serge Ibaka, and Brooke Lopez compliment him on the defensive end. Antetokounmpo, only 27 years old, while seemingly at his best, is still just hitting his stride. They have a championship under their belts, and if they are all on the same page this season, there will be another one.
