NBA Player #2: Nikola Jokic

Denver Nuggets big man Nikola Jokic is a threat to drop a triple-double every time he steps onto the hardwood, and he could eventually top that. With 76 career triple-doubles and him averaging 27.1 points, 13.8 rebounds, and 7.9 assists last season, a quadruple-double is certainly in the cards.

That said, it would require him to block at least 10 shots in a game, and his career high is only five.

Still, it’s a possibility, and it could only take a few weak drives and some soft layups to get Jokic going in that area. Actually, more so now that he’s in better shape and has increased stamina. Although he is still a polarizing defensive player, with some viewing him as too slow-footed and too unathletic to have much of an impact, he has gotten better, with former Defensive Player of the Year Draymond Green even saying as much.

That means that he has a decent chance to eventually record 10 blocks in a game, but it’ll have to be in one where he also has at least 10 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists. That said, Jokic frequently flirts with triple-doubles, so in the event that he’s particularly feisty defending the basket in a game, it increases his odds of recording a quadruple-double.
